4Clickonceonthelanguageyouwishtouse.
5Observethatthesub-menuisclosed,andthatalltextinthemenubuttonschangeto
theselectedlanguage.
Important
Toensurethatalltextsarereplacedwiththechosenlanguage,restarttheES70
application.
Thecontextsensitiveon-linehelplemayalsobeavailableinyourlanguage.To
changethelanguageintheon-linehelp,youmustrestarttheES70.Ifyourlanguage
isnotoffered,theEnglishon-linehelpwillappear.
Checkingthetransceiverandtransducersettings
Thisprocedureexplainshowyoucanverifythatthetransceiverandtransducersettings
arecorrect.
Procedure
1Observethatthecurrentlyconnectedtransducer(s)areshownastabsontheStatus
bar.
Eachtransducernamealsoidentiestheoperationalfrequency.
2ClicktheSetupicon.
ThisiconislocatedundertheMainmenu.ItisusedtoopentheSetup
menu.

3ClicktheInstallationbuttontoopentheInstallationmenu.
Onthemenu,clickTransceiverInstallationtoopentheTransceiverInstallationdialog.
ThepurposeoftheTransceiverInstallationdialogistosetupthenecessary
parameterstoconnecttheES70computertothetransceiver(s)andthetransducer(s).
4Checkthatallapplicabletransceiversandtransducersareconnectedandoperational.
Foreachtransceiver,thisisindicatedbythegreenlabelwithtext“Installed”.
Ifaproblemexists,refertotherelevantprocedureintheOperationalprocedures
chapter.
5ClickOKtosavethecurrentsettingsandclosethedialog.
6ClicktheOperationicon.
ThisiconislocatedundertheMainmenu.ItisusedtoopentheOperaiton
menu.
