Thisisthetypeoftransceivercurrentlyavailableonthenetwork.
GPTmeansGeneralPurposeTransceiver.
2EthernetAddress
ThisistheEthernetaddressofthetransceiver.Thisaddressisxed,anditcan
notbechanged.
3Transducer
Thiscolumnholdsthefrequencyandthetransducertypeconnected.
Theleftspin-boxisnotusedontheGeneralPurposeTransceiver(GPT).
Therightspin-boxisusedtoselecttransducer.Thetransducermustberegisteredin
theES70softwaretoappearonthislist.Ifyoucannotndyourtransduceronthe
list,contactyoudealertoupgradetherelevantsoftwarecomponentontheES70.
4Status
ThefollowingstatusvaluesareavailableintheTransceiverInstallationdialog.
•Busy:Thefrequencychannelisalreadyinuse,probablybyanotherechosounder
onthesamenetwork.Y oucannotconnecttothischannel.
•Installed:ThisfrequencychannelisconnectedtoyourES70system.
•Lost:Thisfrequencychannelcannotbeused.
•Available:Thisfrequencychannelisvacantandreadyforuse.
Transceiverinformation
Ifyouclickoneofthefrequencychannelsinthechannellist,additionalinformation
abouttherelevanttransceiverisprovided.
Thepurposeofthetransceiverinformationeldistoprovideyouwithanoverviewof
thetechnicalparametersofthechosenfrequencychannel.
YoumayalsochoosetochangetheIPaddressonthetransceiver,anddownloadsoftware
toupgradeit.Softwareupdatesareonlyavailableifandwhendistributedwiththe
ES70operationalsoftware.
Notethatinformationprovidedhereisnotrequiredforoperationaluse.
Parameters

ThetransceiversareprovidedbySimradreadilysetupwithaxedEthernetaddress
andanIPaddress.IfyourES70usestwotransceiverswithidenticalfrequencies,
thesewillbydefaulthavedifferentEthernetaddresses,butidenticalIPaddresses.In
orderforyoursystemtowork,alltransceiversmusthaveuniqueIPaddresses.
