ThewholeideawithTVGisthatechoesfromshshall
havethesameecholevel(colour)independentoftheirdepths.
TheES70hasaTVGrangedownto15000meters,whichforallpracticalpurposesis
unlimited.TheES70doesnothaveaTVGcompensatedreceiverlikemostotherecho
sounders.IntheES70theTVGismadeinsoftwareaftertheechoesfromthereceiver(s)
havebeenconvertedtodigitalformat.Inordertomakethisworkthereceivermust
haveverylargedynamicrange.

TVGgainisnotimplemented.Thissettingishardlyeverused.

Thisgainsettingoffersweakeramplicationclosetothebottom.Ithasbeen
