iswired“straight“(nocrossovers).Thelengthofthecableisdenedbythephysical
distancebetweentheTransceiverUnitandtheMultibeamOperatorStation.Thecable
mustbeprovidedbytheinstallationshipyard.Inordertohandlethebandwidthofthe
Ethernetcommunication,aCat6Ethernetcablemustbeused.
OptionalcablesD2andD3maybeusedforexternalworkstations(dataloggers,
post-processingstationsetc.).Ifthesecablesarerequired,theymustbeprovidedbythe
installationshipyard.Ifanoptionalworkstationisusedforspecicrequirements,thisis
alsoconnectedtotheEthernetSwitchintheTransceiverUnit.Inordertohandlethe
bandwidthoftheEthernetcommunication,Cat6Ethernetcablesmustbeused.
