Note ! The direction to the track line may not be the direction to steer
directly to the Waypoint, but may be important for safety
reasons; for instance, if the track passes close to shoals, or a
restricted area.

VELOCITY MADE GOOD (VMG) TO WAYPOINT
TIME TO GO
LOCAL TIME
• The upper screen section displays ‘VMG–WP’, the Velocity
Made Good to WP value and the unit (e.g. ‘kts’).
• The middle screen section displays time ‘TO GO’ in
hours:minutes:seconds to the destination waypoint.
• The lower screen section displays ‘LOCAL’ time in
hours:minutes:seconds. The Local Time is only given if a
suitable GPS data input is available. The GPS system runs on
Universal Co-ordinated Time (UTC), which is the same as
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). The display can be set to
local time.
